Jakarta, 2 May 2023 – PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk. (LPKR), Indonesia’s leading real estate and healthcare platform based on total revenue, achieved a revenue growth of 14% YoY to IDR 3,8tn in 1Q23. Gross profit also increased 15% YoY to IDR 1,6tn, while EBITDA increased 30% YoY to IDR 878bn.

Furthermore, LPKR reported NPAT of IDR 1,1tn in 1Q23, with increased Underlying NPAT of 54% YoY driven by improved business fundamentals, lower interest rate, and successful liability management.

In 1Q23, LPKR achieved marketing sales of IDR 1,2tn or 24,7% of its FY2023 target of IDR 4,9tn, supported by consistent sales of landed housing projects. 1Q23 marketing sales consisted of IDR 873bn from LPKR and IDR 337bn from Lippo Cikarang.

In the healthcare segment managed by LPKR’s subsidiary, PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk (“Siloam”), Siloam managed to achieve the highest first quarter financial results in 1Q23 with a revenue increase of 19% YoY to IDR 2,6tn, gross profit increased 29% YoY to IDR 1,1tn, and EBITDA significantly increased 47% YoY to IDR 673bn, driven by strong operational performance.

Meanwhile, the lifestyle segment comprising of mall and hotel businesses have shown significant recovery with revenue increasing by 19% YoY to IDR 296bn. Gross profit also increased by 11% YoY to IDR 197bn.
