BANTEN REGIONAL PARLIAMENT COMMENDS COVID-19 VACCINATION PROGRAM AT LIPPO VILLAGE
Tangerang, August 7, 2021 – During an official visit to monitor the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination program, Chairman of the Banten Regional House of Representatives (DPRD Banten), Andra Soni, expressed his appreciation to Siloam Hospitals Lippo Village (SHLV), PT Lippo Malls Indonesia (LMI), and the Tangerang Regency Health Office (Dinkes), for their joint efforts in organizing a Covid-19 vaccination program for the people of Tangerang at MaxxBox Lippo Village.
SHLV, located in the strategic township of Lippo Village, is one of the hospitals owned by PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk, the healthcare business line of PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR). Meanwhile, LMI is a business unit of LPKR and is known as Indonesia’s largest mall operator and manager.
“We strongly support this type of public-private collaboration, where the government and private sector work together to accelerate the vaccination rollout for all segments of society, especially in Tangerang and Banten. We hope this partnership can serve as a model for others and continue to run smoothly,” said Andra Soni. He was accompanied by Deputy Chairman of DPRD Banten Budi Prajogo, members Ali Nurdin and Muhammad Faisal, and Dr. Ririn, Head of Disease Prevention and Control at the Banten Health Office, during their visit to the vaccination site at MaxxBox Lippo Village on Thursday (August 5).
Dr. Jeffry Oeswadi, MARS, Director of SHLV, stated, “We are very pleased that the vaccination program has received attention and support from the leadership of DPRD Banten. Through this initiative held at MaxxBox Lippo Village, we are doing our utmost to help the government achieve its vaccination targets as quickly as possible.”
Since March 19, 2021, SHLV, LMI (which manages MaxxBox Lippo Village), and the Tangerang Regency Health Office have been conducting the Covid-19 vaccination program at MaxxBox Lippo Village with a minimum daily target of 700 vaccine recipients. Each session involves approximately 20 healthcare personnel from SHLV. As of August 5, 2021, a total of 7,500 individuals have been vaccinated at this location, with 7,000 of them having received their second dose.
