Expanding Healthcare Access, Siloam Launches Homecare Services in 41 Hospitals

Jakarta, March 14, 2023 — PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk. (SILO), a subsidiary of PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk. (LPKR) in the healthcare services sector, continues to enhance and expand its offerings through Siloam Homecare Services, aimed at reaching patients who are physically unable to visit Siloam hospitals, allowing them to consult with doctors from the comfort of their own homes.

Currently, all 41 Siloam Hospitals across Indonesia provide homecare services to patients in surrounding areas. Siloam Homecare Services delivers a wide range of medical care, including COVID-19 testing and vaccination, wound care, nursing services, oncology and chemotherapy treatment, post-surgical care, mother and child care, medical rehabilitation, general health check-ups, and healthy meal catering services.

As of September 2022, Siloam Homecare Services had served over 21,000 patients. In support of these services, Siloam has mobilized 347 doctors and specialists dedicated to providing home-based care. This growing performance positively contributes to the parent company, LPKR, which holds a 58.05% ownership stake in SILO.

As reported, for Q3 2022, SILO posted revenues of IDR 5.4 trillion, EBITDA of IDR 1.4 trillion, and net profit of IDR 457 billion. SILO also recorded the highest number of inpatient days and outpatient visits in Q3 2022 compared to the previous 10 quarters.

Inpatient days during the first nine months of 2022 increased by 8.3%, reaching 587,617 days, up from 542,772 days in the same period in 2021. Throughout the same period, SILO served over 2.2 million outpatient visits, a 32.2% increase from the first nine months of 2021.
