This active role is demonstrated through the establishment of a dedicated Vaksinasi Gotong Royong vaccination center at Senayan Park (SPARK) shopping mall in South Jakarta, officially inaugurated on May 19, 2021. The event was attended by Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Erick Thohir, Chairman of Commission IX (Health Affairs) of the Indonesian Parliament Charles Honoris, Vice Governor of Jakarta Ahmad Rizal Patria, Chairman of KADIN Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, Vice Chairwoman of KADIN Shinta Widjaja Kamdani, CEO of LPKR and President Commissioner of Siloam John Riady, President Director of Siloam Darjoto Setyawan, Siloam’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Grace Frelita, and President Director of PT Ariobimo Laguna Perkasa, Kurnia Achmadin.

John Riady, CEO of LPKR and President Commissioner of Siloam, stated, “The Vaksinasi Gotong Royong program is designed to protect company employees and help build herd immunity, particularly in workplace environments. This initiative must be implemented on a large scale in order to accelerate Indonesia’s recovery across various sectors and support national economic revitalization. We therefore encourage all hospitals in Indonesia to participate as vaccination centers for this program.”

He added, “In addition, LPKR, through Siloam and LMI, is currently conducting vaccination activities at 62 locations across Indonesia. Of these, half are carried out at Siloam Hospitals, and the rest are hosted in LMI-managed malls. As of the third week of May 2021, Siloam has administered COVID-19 vaccinations to over 111,000 individuals, including healthcare workers, the elderly, educators, civil servants, MSME entrepreneurs, and other professionals.”
