LPKR DISTRIBUTES QURBAN ANIMALS TO SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES
Tangerang, July 19, 2021 – In commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1442 H, PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk. (LPKR) once again distributed qurban animals to underprivileged communities living near its development projects, including in Kemang, Cikarang, Cempaka Putih, Puri, Mampang Prapatan, and areas bordering the Lippo Village township in Tangerang.
A total of 11 cows and 32 goats were recently handed over through local urban village offices (kelurahan) and mosque committees in the respective areas receiving the donations.
“We hope that the residents in areas bordering Lippo Village—such as Kelapa Dua, Curug, and Cibodas sub-districts—can share in the joy of Eid al-Adha through these qurban donations. We also hope that such acts of care and compassion will continue in the future, helping to strengthen social resilience in the Tangerang region,” said Muhammad Faizal, a member of the Banten Regional House of Representatives (DPRD Banten), who was present during the handover of the qurban animals to residents around Lippo Village.
Danang Kemayan Jati, Director of External Relations at LPKR, added that the number of qurban animals donated this year has increased compared to the previous year. “LPKR cannot turn a blind eye to the current condition of the community, especially during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. We hope that this increased support can lift the spirits of the community. It is also a tangible reflection of LPKR’s long-term commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR).”
LPKR remains committed to consistently supporting those in need, particularly residents living near its ongoing development projects and areas adjacent to the Lippo Village township. All assistance is carefully tailored to meet the specific needs of the community, especially in challenging times such as the Covid-19 pandemic.
