LPKR ORGANIZES FREE RABIES VACCINATION EVENT

Lippo Village, December 15, 2021 – PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk. (LPKR) actively supports the Tangerang Regency Government in its efforts to implement the “Rabies-Free Tangerang” program. This commitment was demonstrated through the organization of a free rabies vaccination event for pets—particularly dogs and cats—held at MaxxBox Lippo Village on December 11, 2021.

The event was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture and Livestock of Tangerang Regency and was attended by drh. Kustri Windayani, M.Si, Head of Animal Health and Veterinary Public Health Division; Iin Batara, S.Pd., M.IP, Head of Community Empowerment Section, Bencongan Indah Sub-district; and Syarif, S.Sos, Head of Peace and Order Section, Bencongan Indah Sub-district. By the end of the event, 106 dogs and 50 cats had received free rabies vaccinations in Lippo Village.

“We extend our gratitude to LPKR for its continued concern for the needs of residents in Lippo Village, especially regarding rabies vaccinations for their pets. We hope that in future events, even more residents will take the time to bring their pets—especially cats and dogs—for vaccination,” said drh. Kustri Windayani, M.Si.

“In conjunction with the free rabies vaccination activity, we also provided education on responsible pet ownership in residential environments, supported by veterinarians from the Department of Agriculture and Livestock of Tangerang Regency.”

Through its Town Management Division (TMD), the township management arm of Lippo Village, LPKR consistently pays close attention to the services and needs of residents—including promoting the health and wellbeing of pets within the Lippo Village community.
