LPKR PREPARES NEW PRODUCT LINEUP FOR 2023
Jakarta, April 13, 2023 – PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk. (LPKR), Indonesia’s leading real estate and healthcare company by revenue, delivered solid performance in 2022 amidst the recovery of the property sector. The company is now targeting continued sales growth in 2023.
As reported, in 2022, LPKR generated IDR 4.1 trillion in revenue from its real estate business, with a gross profit of IDR 1.86 trillion and EBITDA of IDR 751 billion. The company also recorded IDR 4.76 trillion in marketing sales (pre-sales) during the year.
At the holding level, LPKR’s 2022 pre-sales reached IDR 3.39 trillion, driven primarily by the Cendana Homes series in Lippo Village, which contributed IDR 1.35 trillion, or about 40% of total holding-level sales. LPKR's performance was also supported by land lot sales totaling IDR 865 billion across 7 locations, residential projects in Makassar worth IDR 319 billion, high-rise inventory sales totaling IDR 294 billion, and memorial park land sales at San Diego Hills amounting to IDR 205 billion.
John Riady, Group CEO of LPKR, stated that the company is preparing a series of new product launches in 2023. LPKR remains committed to introducing new real estate products at a range of price points to attract new buyer segments and meet demand across a broader market spectrum.
LPKR has set a 2023 pre-sales target of IDR 4.9 trillion, which will primarily be driven by new residential products, including landed houses as well as low- and mid-rise apartment units in Lippo Village and Lippo Cikarang.
“We are also closely monitoring macroeconomic risks that could impact future marketing sales. We are proud of our achievements in 2022. However, we recognize the need to navigate growing macroeconomic headwinds in 2023, including inflationary pressures and rising interest rates, which could soften demand,” John added.
