LPKR Reaffirms Its Commitment to Enhancing Safety Across All Business Units
Jakarta, November 24, 2025 – PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR), Indonesia’s leading integrated real estate and healthcare services platform, continues to strengthen its commitment to fostering a safe, healthy, and conducive working environment for all stakeholders. LPKR firmly believes that a healthy and well-protected workforce forms the foundation of long-term business sustainability.
As part of this commitment, the Company has implemented an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management system that is fully aligned with national regulations and best practices, covering 100% of employees as well as non-employee workers. Each business unit is required to establish an OHS system in accordance with legal requirements, while also providing comprehensive OHS services to all workers without exception.
To ensure effective implementation, every business unit appoints dedicated OHS officers or establishes specialized OHS committees. These teams are responsible for identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, ensuring regular safety inspections, and compiling incident reports. Should a workplace incident occur, reporting and investigation processes must be immediately escalated to the corporate office to enable prompt corrective actions.
In 2024, LPKR further reinforced its efforts by enhancing the quality and scope of OHS training programs. Throughout the year, employees participated in a total of 3,494 hours of training, encompassing the integration of OHS aspects into onboarding programs, job-specific technical training, and routine emergency evacuation drills across multiple operational sites. These initiatives ensure that employees are well prepared to respond to potential risks and emergency situations in the workplace.
LPKR also strengthened internal preparedness by establishing Emergency Response Teams at office locations. These teams are tasked with anticipating potential risks while encouraging active employee participation in safety consultations, communication, and reporting processes. Supported by a structured incident investigation system focused on continuous improvement, the Company underscores that workforce safety remains its highest priority.
At the group level, LPKR has established a Group OHS Committee comprising representatives from all business units. This committee serves as a coordination hub to align policy direction, information dissemination, and the standardization of OHS practices throughout the organization. Operating under the ESG Committee, the structure is led by the Floor Warden Coordinator and reinforced by OHS experts and ESG teams from each business unit.
John Riady, CEO of the Lippo Indonesia Group, stated that the committee ensures OHS practices are implemented in an integrated manner across real estate, retail malls, hospitality, and healthcare operations. With an integrated structure and dedicated OHS teams in every segment of the business, the Company ensures that safety management is applied consistently and comprehensively.
