LPKR Strengthens Its Commitment to Building a Sustainable Supply Chain
Jakarta, November 12, 2025 – In line with the 2030 Sustainability Agenda, PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR), Indonesia’s leading integrated real estate and healthcare services platform, continues to reinforce its commitment to ethical and responsible business practices through the Group-wide implementation of its Sustainable Procurement Policy and Supplier Code of Conduct. These policies serve as guiding principles for all partners and suppliers in upholding ethics, respecting human rights, ensuring workplace safety, and supporting environmental sustainability.
This initiative not only strengthens governance throughout the value chain, but also mitigates legal and reputational risks arising from potential non-compliance by suppliers. All suppliers are required to sign a Supplier Statement of Commitment, affirming their willingness to comply with the Supplier Code of Conduct.
This process is mandatory for all new business partners and will be progressively extended to existing suppliers based on the priorities of each business unit. Any supplier who declines to sign the commitment must provide a clear written justification.
LPKR’s key principles include ethical business conduct and fair competition; prohibitions on insider trading, harassment, and intimidation; protection of human rights and labor standards; information confidentiality; strict prohibitions against bribery, corruption, and nepotism; and a strong commitment to environmental stewardship.
The Company continues to enhance its procurement policies and processes to ensure supply chain resilience, cost efficiency, and digital integration. Several business units have transitioned from paper-based systems to SaaS-based digital solutions, and have utilized Google Forms to streamline communication with vendors.
In 2024, the Company introduced a Vendor Visit Form to assess the credibility and reliability of vendors and contractors. This measure helps prevent the risks of fictitious companies and potential fraud, while ensuring that all business partners meet the Company’s established quality standards.
Digitalization has also improved transparency and accountability in supplier relationships, enabling procurement processes to become faster, more efficient, and measurable. In parallel, cost management remains a key priority through bulk purchasing strategies, savings tracking, and the optimization of economies of scale.
John Riady, CEO of the Lippo Indonesia Group, stated that through these initiatives, the Company continues to strengthen the foundation of sustainable, transparent, and agile procurement practices, in order to build a resilient and responsible supply chain ecosystem that is aligned with the demands of modern business dynamics.
