LPKR’s Lifestyle Segment Revenue Grows 13% in Q1 2025
Jakarta, 14 May 2025 – PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR), Indonesia’s leading integrated real estate and healthcare platform, reported a net profit of IDR 169 billion for the first quarter of 2025. The Company also posted an EBITDA of IDR 375 billion, while its cash position strengthened to IDR 2.77 trillion, up from IDR 2.62 trillion in the same period last year, reflecting effective cash management.
These results highlight the Company’s continued focus on strengthening its core businesses, delivering solid operational performance, maintaining cost efficiency, and executing a prudent debt reduction strategy.
LPKR’s lifestyle segment, comprising retail malls and hospitality, delivered strong performance in Q1 2025, with revenue growing 13% year-on-year (YoY) to IDR 322 billion. Gross profit rose 34% to IDR 239 billion, while EBITDA increased 59% YoY to IDR 106 billion, driven by higher rental income, operational recovery, and sustained cost efficiency initiatives.
During the reporting period, the Company recorded an average of over 11 million mall visitors per month, an 8% YoY increase. Mall occupancy also rose to 82.2%, up 3% YoY, underscoring the sector’s ongoing recovery and growing tenant demand in prime locations.
As part of its asset enhancement strategy, LPKR, through PT Lippo Malls Indonesia, launched Livin’ Alun-Alun Nusantara, a 14,000 square meter Indonesian-themed culinary destination within Lippo Mall Nusantara. This initiative is a key component of the mall’s comprehensive renovation to boost its overall attractiveness and competitiveness.
The hospitality segment also posted positive growth, supported by increased demand from families and business travelers. This performance was further strengthened by a significant rise in food and beverage (F&B) revenue, fueled by a recovery in social gatherings, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) activities, and wedding events.
