Jakarta, 15 September 2023 - PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk. (SILO), a subsidiary of PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk. (LPKR), continues to enhance its digital healthcare services through the MySiloam application, reinforcing its commitment to delivering integrated and patient-centric care.

John Riady, President Commissioner of SILO and Group CEO of LPKR, stated that SILO remains committed to investing in digital patient engagement and platform capabilities to improve the overall patient experience. The goal is to ensure that patients receive more seamless and integrated care.

SILO's digital ecosystem includes the MySiloam mobile application, Siloam’s official website, a dedicated contact center, and a specialized WhatsApp channel. With the growing popularity of these digital channels, the number of patient appointments made through online platforms has increased significantly. In the first half of 2023, Siloam’s digital channels, including live chats and WhatsApp, contributed to approximately 19% of total outpatient visits, equating to around 300,000 appointments. As of June 2023, the MySiloam app had been downloaded more than 1.7 million times, with an average of 135,000 monthly active users and over 77% engagement rate.

The expansion of MySiloam’s digital capabilities has also supported SILO’s strong financial performance in the first half of 2023, positively impacting its parent company, LPKR, which holds a 58.05% stake in SILO.

SILO recorded revenue of IDR 4.09 trillion in 1H/2023, marking a 19.1% year-on-year increase. EBITDA reached IDR 1.2 trillion, up 47.6% YoY, while net profit soared 142.5% YoY to IDR 516 billion. Inpatient admissions, inpatient days, and outpatient visits also saw significant growth, reaching 142,961 patients (up 33.7%), 451,518 days (up 22.7%), and 1,835,666 visits (up 29.9%), respectively, compared to the same period in 2022.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, MySiloam experienced rapid adoption as patients increasingly turned to digital healthcare options. SILO has since consolidated its digital services, allowing patients to conveniently access a range of medical examinations and diagnostics. The MySiloam app enables users to schedule appointments and explore a comprehensive list of services offered at Siloam Hospitals.

In addition to teleconsultation services via the app, SILO also offers homecare services for patients unable to visit hospitals in person. These services allow patients to consult with Siloam’s doctors from the comfort of their homes. MySiloam’s digital capabilities, such as express check-out, digital medical records, digital labs and radiology, tele-chat, and teleconsultation, continue to position SILO as a leader in Indonesia’s healthcare industry. Today, SILO operates 41 hospitals across 23 provinces in Indonesia.
