LPKR’s 1H21 Revenue Increased by 36% YoY to Rp7.23tn and EBITDA Growth of 102%

Jakarta, August 3, 2021 - In 1H21, the total revenue of PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk. (LPKR) rose 36% YoY (year on year) to Rp7.23 trillion and EBITDA grew 102% to Rp1.95 trillion. The increase in revenue of Rp7.23 trillion was supported by Real Estate Development revenue which rose 47% YoY to Rp1.9 trillion from the previous Rp1.32 trillion.

Lippo Karawaci's pre-sales also rose 122% YoY to Rp2.33 trillion in 1H21, thus reaching 67% of the 2021 pre-sales target of Rp3.5 trillion. This revenue was supported by the completion of the construction of the Waterfront landed housing cluster in Cikarang and the handover of apartment units in Holland Village Jakarta, Embarcadero in Bintaro, Hillcrest and Fairview Towers in Lippo Village, and Orange County Cikarang, which in total contributed 67.1% of revenue.

LPKR has also launched the first phase of Cendana Parc, which is a new affordable landed housing project in Lippo Village. In this first phase, all 467 units were successfully sold. In total, the first phase of Cendana Parc generated a pre-sale value of more than Rp401.4 billion. While phases 2 and 3 are targeted to generate another Rp500 billion when launched in the second quarter of 2021.

In the Real Estate Management & Services business pillar, LPKR's revenue in 1H21 grew by 33% to Rp5.27 trillion from Rp3.96 trillion previously. LPKR also reported that EBITDA in 1H21 grew by 102.4% YoY to Rp1.96 trillion from Rp969 billion in 1H20.

LPKR CEO John Riady said, “In 2021, our property business continues to show strength. It can be seen from the pre-sales in the second quarter of 2021 which grew by 193% to Rp1.02 trillion. We are optimistic that this year's pre-sale target of Rp3.5 trillion will be achieved through the launch of new products."
