Meikarta Strenghtens International Hospitality by Collaborating with Langham Hospitality Group

Synergy in building world class infrastructure between two giant companies Lippo Group and Langham Hospitality Group 

Jakarta, August 10, 2017 –
Meikarta, an integrated world class city developed by Lippo Group has reached preliminary agreement with Langham Hospitality Group as of today. The joint collaboration between the two companies will hope to establish two world class hotels in Meikarta 

Meikarta President Ketut Budi Wijaya who was present during the occasion was quoted saying, “We would like to extend our appreciation to Langham Hospitality Group for choosing Meikarta to esablish two world class hotels, indeed this is a great source of pride fo us. This step also signifies the trust of the international community towards Meikarta in its attempt to establish a modern city with the best infrastructure facilities in Asia.” Wijaya said. 

Langham Hospitality Group is a company operating in the hospitality sector under Great Eagle Holdings, one of the worlds leading real estate and hotel companies based in Hong Kong. Langham Hospitality group currently operates 50 hotels worldwide which has received numerous awards from the Travel & Leissure World’s Best Hotel Awards. 

The establishment of the two hotels in Meikarta is a part of Meikarta’s long term plan to establish a world class modern city with the best infrastructure in Indonesia and Asia. Wijaya mentions that the arrival of Langham Hospitality Group will compliment Meikarta’s ambition to establish a modern city. The Meikarta project in Bekasi Regency will be strategically located between 10 giant industries, with access to an integrated transportation system, modern apartments, luxurious shopping malls, the best schools and hospitals with world class facilities to supplement a high quality of living. 

Development Manager of Langham Hospitality Group Celia Lian who was present during the signing ceremony mentions that Langham Group expansion in Indonesia is part of a strategic plan by the company to expand in in Asia. “The plan to build 2 hotels in collaboration with Langham Hospitality Group in Meikarta is part of a long term plan to expand our portfolio in Asia. With a strategic location and supported with world class facilities, we see Meikarta as having the capacity to support our operations. I believe that our arrival in Meikarta will be appropriate for our brand.” Celia remarked.
