Jakarta, 7 July 2021 - PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk. (LPKR) reported an increase in marketing sales in Q2/2021 of 193% year on year to Rp1.02 trillion from Rp348 billion in 2020. This was driven by the sale of affordable landed houses which represented 70% of sales.
“Pre-sales of Rp3.5 trillion were supported by sales of high-rise inventory of ongoing projects and the launch of affordable landed houses and commercial projects in Lippo Village and Waterfront Estates Cikarang. Inventory of ongoing projects is worth above IDR 1.4 trillion.”
The growth in marketing sales was also supported by the launch of two new products for Cendana Parc landed houses in Lippo Village and Holland Village Designer Homes Collection in Manado in the second quarter of 2021. Until the end of 2021, LPKR will launch the second phase of Cendana Parc landed houses in Lippo Village, focusing on accelerating sales of high-rise project inventory units, and will re-launch new landed house products in Lippo Cikarang. LPKR CEO John Riady said, “In 2021, our property business continues to show improvement, especially in terms of marketing sales, where marketing sales in the First Half of 2021 grew by 122% YoY to Rp2.33 trillion. We are optimistic that the 2021 target of IDR 3.5 trillion will be achieved through the launch of new products." In addition to the launch of landed housing products which are the foundation for strong sales in the first semester of 2021, LPKR plans to launch projects for the premium market segment and commercial projects in Lippo Cikarang in the second semester of 2021.
